Radiant Power Wins New Cockpit Display Program

SARASOTA, Fla., December 1, 2020 – Radiant Power Corp (a HEICO Company, NYSE: HEI, HEI.A) has received a contract from Leonardo MW Ltd to supply a Multi-Function Cockpit Display Unit (MCDU) for the Sea King MK41 & Sea Lynx MK88A helicopters in support of Airbus Helicopters Deutschland (AHD).  The MCDU will function as a radar control unit designed to be a drop-in replacement for the existing control units in both helicopters.

“We are please to be selected as the partner/supplier for the replacement of the existing Radar Control Unit installed in the Sea King and Sea Lynx” said Anish Patel, President of Radiant Power.  “Our MCDU has extensive operational success on several military platforms and has performed well in a range of challenging environments.”

The MCDU program is being conducted virtually between both companies at present due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  “The early success of the program is a tribute to the product and system’s expertise of both company’s engineering and program management teams” said Jeff Densmore, Director of Engineering at Radiant Power.  Program completion is expected in early-2022.
