Custom Electronics

Our extensive experience in electronic, electro-mechanical, and optical sub-assembly integration provides us with unique capabilities to assist with your defense and commercial product development. Interface offers various off-the-shelf sub-assemblies for your aircraft, marine, or land vehicle system that have been field-proven in products for such applications. Integrating one of our circuit card assemblies, keyboardsintegrated switch assemblies/bezels, or display modules into your system will significantly minimize the time-to-market, development cost and technology risks. Radiant Power supplies our sub-assemblies separately or integrates them into one package that is ready to install into the customers LRU or directly into the aircraft. The sub-assembly is modified to provide the customer-specific functions with little or no non-recurring engineering cost.

Radiant Power provides support at all project stages, from specification definition to qualification testing.

The following are examples of the sub-assemblies we can supply for your project. Electrical interfaces can be as simple as an RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, or ARINC 429, or as complex as is needed. Customer-developed software can be managed and loaded into the sub-assembly at our facilities or through a data port in the field.

X86 Processor Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Radiant Power has developed an extensive line of processor CCAs (from Pentium® I to Pentium M) that include many of the I/O devices required for aircraft systems communications. These sub-assemblies are installed in aircraft systems that have been qualified to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and/or RTCA DO-160D.

Power Supply Circuit Card Assemblies
Radiant Power has developed an extensive line of power supply CCAs that meet the requirements of MIL-STD-704 and RTCA DO-160D. These PS CCAs include EMI and lighting suppression as well as hold-up for power interruptions. These sub-assemblies are installed in aircraft systems that have been qualified to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and/or RTCA DO-160D.

ARINC 429 PC-104 Circuit Card Assemblies
Radiant Power has developed an ARINC 429 communications card that complies with the electrical and physical form factor of the PC-104 standard. The ARINC 429 CCA provides four receive and two transmit channels and is installed in aircraft systems that have been qualified to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and/or RTCA DO-160D.
